Bringing back the best of the 1940's and 50's
American Retro :: Pedal Car Sedans
Our pedal sedan was inspired by the very rare "sad face" sedans of the
late 1940's. Heavy gauge steel construction is trimmed with a chrome
windshield, chrome hood ornament, chrome steering wheel and chrome hub
caps. Each one has adjustable pedals. Recommended ages 2 to 6 years
old. Adult supervision required.
American Retro :: Jalopies
New models this year are larger than the previous ones, but these 1929
model Pedal Cars will still charm your socks off. We call them our
Jalopies, and we were inspired by the Model A. Made from heavy gauge
steel and solid rubber tires, the details of these new models make them
stand apart from the crowd.
Jalopies are ideal entry-level pedal vehicles.
American Retro :: Pedal Race Cars
Inspired by the famous 1952-1957 Ferrari F2 Racers and other Grand Prix type racers of the era
American Retro :: Estate Wagon
The Estate Wagon is another 'sad face.' Like the Pedal Sedans, it was
inspired by the famous 'sad face' Ranch Wagons of the late 1940's. It's
a beautiful pedal car, the closest thing the pedal car world has to a
'woody.' Check out all the chrome!
American Retro :: Pedal Airplanes
The famous 1941 Steelcraft U. S. Army Patrol Plane inspired our pedal
planes. These models are made of heavy gauge steel just like the
originals. But we added chrome and lots of it -- on the windshield,
steering wheel, hubcaps, exhaust ports, hood scoops, and propeller.
